About the role:

We are looking for a Children’s Allied Health professional (Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist) to join our dynamic and friendly Child and Youth Health team based In Woodend.

This part time role will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary team, with children with additional developmental needs, their parents/carers and educators both at the centre and in community settings.

The practitioner will provide evidence-based assessment and management of clients (birth to adolescence) using a range of service delivery models.

About you:

Excellent communication, planning and problem solving skills are essential. Experience and understanding of the NDIS funded service system is desirable. Experience in the delivery of occupational therapy services to adolescents would be highly regarded.

This role is primarily based in Woodend however, some travel to other Macedon Ranges sites may be required.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake and maintain a National Criminal History Check (NCHC), a NDIS Safety Screening check, and hold a current valid Working With Children Check.
